Fundraising

With A+ School Rewards, points accrue with each purchase where the Stop & Shop Card is used. It even works with purchases made online with Peapod by Stop & Shop. At the end of each month, these points determine your school's cash total which is automatically credited to its account and school totals updated each month. (Please note: Gift cards (excluding store brand gift cards), pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases are excluded from accruing points.)

A+ School Rewards are rounded per transaction to the nearest whole dollar amount. At the end of each month, each school's dollar amount is determined which is then automatically credited to its account.

Got Books? is an award-winning organization that has been around for eight years, and is known in the region for its pick-up vans. They serve the local community by helping charities, schools, and nonprofit groups raise money. They also help the environment by saving unwanted books from being thrown away. All books collected by the vans are either donated to libraries and schools or sold at the store.

Fundraising
Got Books book donation containers are a fun, easy, alternative fundraising program for schools. By placing a book donation container at Odyssey, the school can raise money on an ongoing basis through book donations from the community. Got Books pays for these collected items as the container fills, and there are never any costs or selling activity by the school or its students. This simple, ongoing fundraiser has worked for many groups across New England!

Free Books
If Odyssey hosts a Got Books book donation container, the school will get a voucher for FREE BOOKS at their Used Book Superstore! (This is also a great place to shop for cheap books – for just a dollar!)

Support the Odyssey Day School while doing your online shopping! Go to SchoolPop and choose your online merchant from an extensive list. You get the same selection and prices, and the school gets a little bit of money. Everyone wins!

Box Tops for Education, a school fundraising program sponsored by General Mills, has given over $70 million to America's schools since 1996. The Box Tops for Education program offers schools three easy ways to earn much needed cash - schools can earn up to $60,000 a year.

The program allows schools to earn cash by sending in Box Tops coupons from participating General Mills products including General Mills Big G cereals, Betty Crocker products, Pillsbury frozen and refrigerated products, Green Giant products and many others. (For a full list, see the BTFE website). Each boxtop that you turn in is worth 10 cents to ODS! Simply clip the logo (see left) and drop it in the collection can at school in front of the parent mailboxes. Click on the graphic to learn more about the BTFE program.
