Summer Program

Summer Sun, Explore, and Have Fun!

Odyssey’s summer program – ODS EXPLORERS – features a variety of weekly themes to entertain and educate children entering Preschool through 2nd grade. The days are filled with indoor and outdoor games, crafts, nature, music, and water play. Special events include field trips, optional swim days, special visitors, and picnics.

A popular outing for our Explorers is swimming, which takes place on Wednesday mornings. Explorers will go by bus to a few different ponds, pools, or splashpads throughout the summer. One place they will visit a couple times is Breakheart Reservation in Saugus to swim in Pearce Lake, play in the sand on the beach, take a small hike, and have a fun picnic.

ODS Explorers is open to the community and offers flexible scheduling. Parents can choose a half day (9:00-12:00), a half day extending through lunchtime (9:00 – 1:00), a school day (9:00 – 3:00), or a full day (7:30-5:30). Extended Care is available each day from 7:00 – 9:00 am and 3:00 – 5:30 pm. The minimum schedule is two mornings for two weeks.
